San Benedetto del Tronto, is a small town located in the Marche region, facing the Adriatic Sea.

While I was on maternity leave Eleonora and I started to travel following my partner who was travelling for work. So while he was working Eleonora and I spent a lot of time  visiting cities on our own.

Sandy beaches and shallow sea is a plus if you want to enjoy an holiday at the sea with kids.

Staying in an hotel if you travel alone with kids can be easier, all the hotels have a very convenient full board offer, where the only risk I can see is to take 2 or more kilos per week.

Moreover, if you are travelling with babies they give you the possibility to have meals 15 minutes in advance, this can be good because they can eat in a much more quiet atmosphere and then you can enjoy your meal much more relaxed.

The hotels usually have family room, baby and kids menu, and upon request they can provide you with: cradle, cot, high chair and stroller. A lot of hotels offer also bikes with bike seats for free, to enjoy the area in a complete safe way, thanks to kilometers of cycle path.

Hotels offer the beach entry, the beach umbrella, a deckchair and a chaise longue, locker cabins and a beach cabin to store the toys of the kids during the night.

“I bagni” at the beach usually have a bar service and can provide other complimentary services such as a playground area four your kids with babysitting service included (not all the hotels offer this option and if they do it’s just for a couple of hours during the day) and keep mums busy with acquagym sessions.
